Hey Lovelies, so in Australia it is the beginning of Spring, where the flowers blossom, every garden is beautiful and where it starts to get warmer giving winter a kick in its own butt. So if you live in Australia especially Victoria you have probably realised that that spring heat hasn't really kicked in, some days are warm but then it goes straight back to cold again. So we need to prepare for the real spring, the warmer spring so today I am telling How To Get Ready for Spring!!
As I said spring is when the flowers blossom, flowers don't just blossom in gardens, they blossom on clothes too. On Skirts, Dresses, T-shirts, Singlets, Headbands and Shoes. And who doesn't love looking the part. Spring is about floral. All shops get filled with clothes with a floral pattern or floral accents because that is the vibe of spring. Like Autumn is dark warm colours and summer is bright in your face colours and spring is floral, relaxed but bright colours. Pastels. So if you want to be spring ready you need to be apart of that vibe, let flowers blossom on you, grab a flower crown, a floral skirt or dress because we know everyone can rock that whatever colour skin you have, weather your tall or short or weather you are curvier than others. So this spring I would go into a shop of your choice and get something, something you love, something that you'll wear and something that you don't want to wash because you want to wear it everyday (but please wash it whatever it is. Except if it is a flower crown, please don't wash them!!) But don't throw out your warm clothes yet because spring is very unpredictable, one day it will be steaming hot then the next you will feel like your in antarctica so don't get rid of your warmer clothed YET.
Along with the flowers blossoming in your room and on your clothes you have to let your room blossom. Your room still looks dull and boring since winter but now you need to change that by adding small decorations, floral accents and pastels. Make your room feel spacious not cluttered, give it an airy feel, make it feel bright and alive not cozy and warm because those times are now over and when your hot and sweaty you don't want to be walking in to a hot and steamy room.
